MATCH INFORMATION These are the general procedures and what to bring, but may vary at times.  Two great resources to receive updated match information are the MN3GG Facebook Page and the MNGUN 3X Facebook Page.  Another good resource for more match information is the MN Shoot Calendar.  

MN 3-GUN GROUP MATCHES are held at our partner club ranges and usually have 5 stages.  Set-up begins at 7:30AM, shooter registration begins at 9AM (if set-up is progressing well), the Shooters’ Meeting starts at 9:30AM (if set-up is complete), the match fee is $25.  It is always recommended to bring 100 rounds minimum for each gun plus 10 slugs (NO STEEL CORE AMMO).  It is recommended that all shooters are familiar with the MN3GG Match Rules.  Contacts are Jay Schmitt or Jomar Villamor.

FOREST LAKE SPORTSMEN’S CLUB TACTICAL SHOTGUN MATCHES usually have 5 stages.  Set-up begins at 8AM, shooter registrations begins at 9:30AM, match begins at 10AM (if set-up is complete), the match fee is $20.  It is always recommended to bring a minimum of 150 birdshot (7.5 shot or smaller) and 5 slugs (NO STEEL SHOTS).  These matches uses the MN3GG/Nordic Components Tactical Shotgun Championship Match Rules.  Contact is Ron Westberg.

HAWKEYE IGNITE MATCHES are held at the Forest Lake Sportsmen’s ClubTheir MINI-3-GUN MATCHES are held on Wednesday nights and usually have 3-4 stages.  Setup begins 3:30PM, shooter registrations begins at 5PM, match begins at 5:30PM (if set-up is complete), the match fee is $15.  It is always recommended to bring 100 rounds for each gun plus 10 slugs (NO STEEL CORE AMMO).  These matches uses the MN3GG Match Rules.  They also host “not so ordinary” multi-gun matches such as the TREKKER and 3-MAN 3-GUN.  Match contacts are Mark Stevens and Adam Maxwell.

PINE ISLAND PRACTICAL SHOOTERS 3-GUN MATCHES usually have 5 stages.  Pre-setup the day before at noon, final setup at 8:30AM day of.   Shooter pre-registrations is usually available through Practiscore, shooters can also register at the match.  Match fee is $25.  Shooters’ Meeting begins at 10:15AM, match starts at 10:30AM.  100 rounds minimum for each gun recommended, plus 10 slugs (NO STEEL CORE AMMO).  These matches uses the MN3GG Match Rules.  Contact is Greg Bestland.

TWIN CITIES ACTION SHOOTING (IDPA) 3-GUN MATCHES are held at the Beaverbrook Tri-County Sportsmen’s Club and usually have 4 stages.  Set up and registrations begins at 8AM, shooting begins at 9AM.  Match fee is $20 for TCAS members and $25 for non-members.   It is always recommended to bring 100 rounds for each gun plus 10 slugs (NO STEEL CORE AMMO).  These matches uses the TCAS 3-Gun Rules.  More match information is also available on the Twin Cities Action Shooting Facebook Page.  Contact is Stewart Thompson.

MINNETONKA GAME & FISH CLUB MULTI-GUN MATCHES usually have 3-4 stages.  Set up begins at 4PM, shooter registration begins at 4:30PM, match begins at 5PM, match fee is $10.  100 rounds for each gun recommended (NO STEEL CORE AMMO).  These matches uses the MN3GG Match Rules.  Contact is Ken Rex.

FARGO MOORHEAD PRACTICAL SHOOTING ASSOCIATION 3-GUN MATCHES are held at the Glyndon Rod & Gun Club and usually have 5 stages.  Pre-registration is available at the website.  Setup begins 7AM, shooters’ meeting begins at 9AM, match begins at 9:15AM (if set-up is complete), the match fee is $30.  It is always recommended to bring 100 rounds for each gun plus 10 slugs (NO STEEL CORE AMMO), but check website for a more approximate round count.  Contact is Christopher Levorsen.
