Now that winter is here, we’re moving back into the Osseo Gun Club for some 2-Gun (Rifle/Pistol) matches.  Our December match is scheduled for December 16th and the registration for it is now open.  The January and February match dates are soon to be determined.

The match will be held in 2 flights with each having three 10-man squads (limit of 30 shooters per flight / 60 shooters for the match). 1st flight (Squad 1-3) will be shooting 5-7PM. 2nd Flight (Squad 4-6) will be shooting 7-9PM.

The match fee is $20. These matches have been a sell-out last winter, so pre-registration is highly recommended.  Pre-registration with a $10 match fee deposit will guarantee you a slot in the match as long as you check-in at the match by 4:30PM for the 1st flight and by 6:30PM for the 2nd flight. At check-in, you will then pay the remaining $10 of the match fee.

At 15 minutes before the start time of each flight, any unclaimed pre-registered slots will be forfeited and opened for any walk-ups. Once the pre-registration reaches the maximum 60 participants, registration will be closed, and a waitlist will automatically start. Please plan accordingly and only pre-register if you plan to attend. Cancellations and full refunds of match fee deposits will be honored up to 48 hours before the match start.

As usual, help is always needed and appreciated. This is a volunteer sport and participation in set-up, reset, and tear down is expected of everyone. Set-up for the match will begin at 4PM and we need the assistance of the 1st flight shooters. 2nd flight shooters will be needed with tear down and clean up once the match is over.

Match rules will be the usual MN3GG rules. Though we are not shooting any steel targets at this match, steel core ammo is still prohibited. Also, Osseo Gun Club prohibits aluminum casing and they keep all the brass that hit the floor.

MN3GG requires that participants sign the MN3GG Waiver Form. Osseo Gun Club will also require participants sign their waiver. Their wavier can be signed online at their website.  Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and click on the black tab for the waiver.
